Spectacular bar furniture by Italian designer Osvaldo Borsani from the 1950s. The furniture rests on a very original base with a golden fish moulding, a black marble top and a mirror back which gives it a levitating look. It is made of solid wood and veneer, with a parchment front inlaid with six carved wooden plates representing scenes and a glass top. The two central hinged doors open onto a bar with various drawers and shelves and a large engraved mirror at the back. The two carved wooden side doors open onto a column of shelves on either side of the cabinet. Beautiful wood work in different forms for this unique piece of furniture. Very nice vintage condition with traces of time and use (see pictures). Key provided with the furniture.
