Rare secretary from the ’40s attributed to French designer René Drouet. Lacquered solid wood structure with a pretty floral decoration on the top door of the cabinet, hand-painted and gilded with gold leaf (original paint, gilding and lacquering). Mahogany veneered interior and solid brass feet. Very high quality workmanship. Beautiful vintage condition, to note traces of use and advanced time, we wished to keep the piece of furniture as is with its original patina (see photos).
