Very nice pair of art deco sconces by the Russian artist Vadim Androusov dating from the 40’s, the latter worked in collaboration with the French decorator André Arbus. Structure of the sconces in ochre plaster representing two characters of mermaids. Very decorative sconces with a sculptural design. Very nice vintage condition of this pair, slight traces of time and use on the plaster (see pictures). Recommended Led bulb type B22, sockets independent of the sconces and electrical system redone. Signature of the artist on the sconces.
