Large 17th century Spanish or Italian solid walnut chest, entirely hand-carved. An exceptional work of craftsmanship with a decoration that reproduces the architectural details of the façade of a house. Very fine vintage condition for the original period, with traces of age and use all over the chest. The decorated parts are missing in several places (see photos). The chest has been treated several times for pests.
