Large 19th-century Napoleon III desk. Blackened solid wood frame and diamond-shaped veneer for a 3D effect typical of the Napoleon III style. Beautiful bone marquetry work throughout the desk with baroque and geometric decoration (see photos). Good vintage condition, with numerous signs of age and use: veneer chips, numerous restorations, scratches, etc.
