Sideboard from the 40’s by the Lyon designer André Sornay. Structure in solid veneered mahogany with a black marble top and copper handles. The sideboard is composed of two hinged doors opening onto shelves, a central door opening onto a column of solid wood drawers and two upper drawers under the marble top. Note the very nice finishing work, the furniture being entirely studded with perfectly aligned brass nails for a superb finish. Excellent vintage condition (see photo), designer’s signature on the top of the piece.
